Toombul Medical Centre is located in Toombul Shopping Centre in clayfield, Nundah area.
It is a Large Medical Centre consisting of Male & Female General Practitioners, visiting.
We provide a diverse Medical services including General Practice Consultations, Specialists services, Allied health services,
QML Pathology, Men’s and Women’s Health, Pap smear, Immunizations, Family Medicine, Minor surgical procedures like excision of lumps etc.
Some of our GPs Do Bulk Billings and Some Mixed Billings.
There are out of pocket expenses for some special services, information is available at the Medical Centre.
Toombul Medical centre operates 7 days a week.
For the comfort and convenience of patients, this surgery offers full disables access, spacious waiting areas, disable access toilet, and a well equipped treatment rooms.
The practice has strict infection control policies in place to avoid risks of illness or disease transfer, including autoclave of medical instruments. All instruments are either disposable after once only use or sterilized in out autoclave.
Urgent unscheduled cases are seen promptly if required. This and unexpectedly long appointments may cause delays in seeing the doctors. Where possible, staff will forewarn booked patients of significantly delays.
This practice requests that all patients who are not able to attend their booked appointment telephone/ contact the practice and advise is accordingly. A non rebate-able fee may apply if you continue to miss your appointments without prior notice.
Prescriptions are not available without seeing the doctor. Please ensure you have sufficient medication before leaving the surgery.
Referrals and certificates
Referrals to specialists are usually written at time of consultation. Under no circumstances can a doctor back date a referral. Due to the continuing changes in specialist consultation fees we advise our patients to contact their referred specialists rooms for confirmation of any out of pocket costs.For doctors to provide Medical Certificates it is necessary for the doctor to consult the patient for that ailment.
The administration staff cannot give patients their results.It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as the patient to RETURN to see
your Doctor for the RESULTS OF ALL TESTS. Results are NOT provided over the telephone.
